Professional-Grade Cutting Compound – Cartec Compound 5000 is a high-performance cutting compound designed for paint correction and refinishing. This silicone-free and ammonia-free formula quickly eliminates deep scratches, P1500–P3000 sanding marks, oxidation and overspray while leaving a mirror-like finish. The self-lubricating compound produces minimal dust and is non-greasy, making clean-up easy. It’s safe on freshly painted panels and gelcoat and can be used with rotary or dual-action polishers.

How to Use

1. Shake well and apply small pea-sized dots of Compound 5000 to a wool or foam cutting pad.
2. Spread at low speed, then increase to approximately 1 500 RPM (rotary) or 3 500 RPM (dual-action). Work in sections until the defects are removed.
3. Wipe away residue with a clean microfiber towel and inspect. For extra gloss, finish with a fine polish such as Cartec Final Cut 9000.
